Maria Elena Durazo, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO.
"On a daily basis we are tending to families who struggle to put food on the table, keep the lights on and maintain a bare level of income. The growth of partnerships that we work with has been a primary focus to ensure we stay in tune with changing nature of requests. Our commitment to our union members and community at large is to be prepared at all times."
